    Abstract
The 20 aminoacyl tRNA synthetases (AARSs) are grouped into two broad classes (class I and II) based on their structure and their interactions with the tRNA molecule. The purpose of this study was to explore the role of internal protein dynamics in the catalytic function of these enzymes.
