    Abstract
The Prairie du Chien group in western Wisconsin and eastern Minnesota is a large supplier of dimension stone. The durability of these blocks allows them to be used in a wide variety of applications from small garden steps to large building stones. There are several different stratigraphic intervals in the Oneota Formation that are ideal for dimension stone. The purpose of this study was to identify these intervals.
