In a three-interview oral history (one conducted in two parts in October and November of 1983 with Barry Teicher, and the second in May of 2002 with Eric Olmanson), Newell Smith discusses his time at UW-Madison, first as a student, then working for Housing, eventually becoming Director of Residence Halls.
