Abstract
The purpose of the Ensemble 61 composition project was for six UWEC BM-Composition majors to compose a work of "new music" for a professional performance. The performers, Twin-Cities based Ensemble 61, sent the composers requirements for a piece (no shorter than 5 minutes) for piano, cello, and specific percussion.
