The Napoleones arrived in in Madison in the late 1970s, and after finding the gardens hardly ever left campus. The Napoleones retell their experiences with the community government, growing produce, the configuration of the gardens, and how their time in Eagle Heights has affected their gardening practices since leaving UW. This interview was conducted for inclusion in a Master?s thesis on the Eagle Heights Community Gardens.en
