    Abstract
The purpose of this research was to identify the qualities and skills that current employers seek in graduates with information systems (IS) degrees. This research will provide current and future students majoring in IS with a better understanding of what skills and traits make a good IS graduate and will aid students in deciding which emphasis, either systems development or business analysis, to pursue.
