dc.descriptionIn his two interviews in August, 2009, Dave Black offered his recollections and observations on a variety of topics. He discussed his early life in Athens, Ohio, his time in the military, his education at Portland State University and San Francisco State University, and his early experiences working in radio broadcasting. He also discussed the history of WSUM 91.7, from his perspective as its General Manager since 1995, as well as his experiences as an instructor. This interview was conducted as a student project for LIS 640 - Oral History, summer 2009 (Instructor: Troy Reeves).en
