    Abstract
    Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) is an antibioticresistant strain of the bacterium Staphylococcus aureus, which can cause serious and potentially fatal infections in humans. This study examined the prevalence of MRSA colonization in Loja Province, Ecuador.
