In her three-interview oral history (conducted in September, October, and December 2008) with Troy Reeves, Charlene ?Char? Tortorice discussed some aspects of her life history. Tortorice spoke of the time period between 1951 and the present and of the following topics: Madison Academic Staff Association, UW?Madison campus governance, UW?Madison Sociology Department, UW?Madison Chancellors, 1960s/1970s student protest, Middleton, Wisconsin, and Poynette (Wisconsin) School District. Reeves conducted this interview to attempt to start a campus governance oral history project for the UW?Madison Oral History Program.
