    Abstract
This report estimates the fiscal and environmental costs and benefits associated with expanding the city of Milwaukee Department of Public Works? use of compressed natural gas garbage trucks. The cost-benefit model incorporates assumptions about renewed tax incentives, costs associated with fuel emissions, and the uncertainty related to factors such as fuel costs. The authors recommend the department purchase 10 compressed natural gas garbage trucks in 2012.
