    Abstract
This action learning project contains an overview of the literature pertaining to the Kinesthetic/Tactual, Auditory, and Visual learning styles. Since students may learn in various modes, it is the responsibility of the teacher to identify and teach within these modes. A learning Style Inventory was constructed by the writer. This inventory is suitable for use with a small group of primary-aged students for identifying dominant modalities of learning. Activities for this project are based on a review of educational materials and on discussions with teachers as to various approaches of presenting material. The activities are for grades 1, 2, and 3 and cover language arts, mathematics, social studies, and science.
