    Abstract
The University of Wisconsin--Eau Claire is actively engaged in the process of making the campus more equitable, diverse, and inclusive. Current quantitative dat indicate the number of students of color applying, persisting, and graduating from the teacher education program is low. This research project is designed to uncover what drives this discouraging reality.
