    Abstract
The investigator in this study sought to identify and measure the effectiveness of the teaching strategies used in the A+ certification course at Chippewa Valley Technical College. This was accomplished by surveying 3 sections of students who took the A+ certification course during the 2003/2004 school year. The researcher developed on online survey which was sent to 31 students who had completed the A+ certification exam. Twenty eight of the 31 students responded to the survey. The survey questions consisted of 3 categories including 12questions regarding the teaching strategies that were used in the A+ certification course. Respondents were asked to rate how useful each of the teaching strategies that were used in the course. It is the researcher's belief that the results of this study provide validation of the most effective teaching strategies used the A+ course. The results of the study can be used to improve and modify the A+ curriculum. The results will also help new instructors out who have not previously taught this course by giving them insight to what strategies have been successful in training students the competencies needed to pass the A+ exam.
