The purpose of this research was to gather students' feedback about the accelerated Administrative Assistant associate degree program at Chippewa Valley Technical College (CVTC). This program is called CareerConnect. A survey was developed to gather information from currently enrolled program students about why they selected the program, general program aspects such as coursework, course sequence, and instructors, and possible improvements to the program and related student services. Students have chosen the CareerConnect program for several reasons. However, results of the study showed that the most popular reason for selecting the CareerConnect program was to earn a degree. The CareerConnect program is also a popular choice with current students because of the evening courses and accelerated format. Overall, students seemed very satisfied with all aspects of the program and related student services. Ninety-four percent of students said they would recommend the program to their colleagues. Ninety-four percent also indicated their expectations of the program had been met. Ninety-seven percent of students indicated they were either satisfied or very satisfied with the education they received at Chippewa Valley Technical College. Students identified three areas involving related student services that they would like to see improved. These areas are course registration, program marketing, and the general coursework timeframe. Information from this study provided student feedback regarding the CareerConnect program to the Business Technology Department at Chippewa Valley Technical College. The Business Technology Department at CVTC will be able to utilize survey data to determine the success of the CareerConnect program as well as identify areas of the CareerConnect program that need improvement. Data from the study will also assist the CVTC support areas providing service to CareerConnect in identifying services that need improvement.
