Becoming a high performing organization takes a lot of work by everyone involved and is a continuous process that is in constant flux. As an organization strives to maintain or to become a high performance organization they must hurdle barriers. These barriers could be a hindrance to the success and the future of the organization. The purpose of this study is to identify some of the barriers that exist in hospitals that do not allow them to achieve their goal and/or become a high performance organization. The study will look at what barriers exist and why do these barriers exist in organizations.
