    Abstract
The main objective of the study at the 3M St. Paul Tape Plant Cushion Mount Plus focus factory was to develop a detailed plan to apply Synchronous Management and Theory of Constraints techniques to the Cushion Mount Plus multi-plant supply chain. The plan was developed using the Theory of Constraints tool: The Prerequisite Tree. In order to assure that the project addressed the most significant problems in the Cushion Mount Plus supply chain the root core problem was identified using a Current Reality Tree. Further analysis of the core problem was done using a cloud diagram. The Current Reality Tree analysis results where used to direct the development of the Prerequisite Tree.
