    Abstract
The purpose of this study is to determine the need for an in depth Cross-Cultural training component in Undergraduate Hospitality and Tourism programs. Based on the findings of two fields of study and the correlation between the two: (1) Failure Rate of Expatriates on Overseas Assignments in the Hospitality Field and (2)The Need for Diversity Training in Hospitality fields as the industry relies on and becomes more global. The results of the survey will identify if students are prepared to work with those who are different than them upon graduation, or if there is a need to re-evaluate curriculum and course offerings.
