    Abstract
    Hunger is the greatest global issue facing contemporary society. 800 million people suffer from hunger, with an estimated 34,000 children dying daily. This research analyzes vairous readings to develop trends in definitions, causes, and effects of, as well as possible solutions to, world hunger.
