    Abstract
The South is a vernacular region with a culture unlike any other area in the country. In particular, the food culture is very distinct to this area. From barbeque to tamales the South contains the highest concentration of restaurants themed after these categories. This research project focuses on the Mississippi Delta and consists of data containing these concentrations and comparing them from region to region. With this data, maps were made to display each specific cuisine to their respective regions.
