The Center for Limnology Library is a small science library that is one of thirty-six libraries on the campus of the University of Wisconsin- Madison. The Center focuses its research on limnology, which is the study of inland waters such as lakes, rivers, streams, and wetlands. The library supports research and education at the Center for Limnology (CFL) and related departments, such as Zoology and Biology, on the University of Wisconsin—Madison campus. The library also supports research done at Trout Lake Station Biological Laboratory in Boulder Junction, Wisconsin, through shared resources and services. Its collection is strongest in materials related to the subjects of limnology, oceanography, aquatic biology, zoology, and fisheries.
