Assessment of Leadership Involvement Team Training : residence hall leaders at University of Wisconsin--Whitewater
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to assess Leadership Involvement Team (LIT) Training at UW-Whitewater. LIT is a group of student volunteers in the residence halls who meet as a programming body for the residence halls. This study investigated whether or not LIT members were satisfied with their training. The study was conducted on UW-Whitewater's campus. Participants were current LIT students who completed evaluations of training and/or participated in a focus group discussion. The evaluations were created internally in the Office of Residence Life at UW-Whitewater. Results showed that LIT members are learning beneficial information that is useful to their development as leaders at training. Recommendations for future trainings emerged from the findings.
