- Description
- In her 2010 interview with Emma Schroeder, Carol Oberdorfer shares her memories of the Eagle Heights Community Garden. Carol and her husband Mike lived in Eagle Heights together for many years. Carol recalls that Eagle Heights was a very international community and a great place in which to raise a family. The Oberdorfers avoided pesticides to grow organically and her husband Mike participated in protests with the Ecology Student Association as the environmental protection movement began to expand in the 1960s and 1970s. This interview was conducted for inclusion in a Master?s thesis on the Eagle Heights Community Gardens.
