- Abstract
- This research will carry out the in-depth examination of, using both quantative and qualative techniques, the effects of land use on freight transportation and vice-versa to: expand the understainding of the full impacts of land use decisions in the effeciencey of freight movement and also the efficacy of measures to improve freight transportation toward increased economic competiveness of a region. A set of strategies to better integrate the land use and freight transportation planning will be developed based on the findings.
