The Newsletter of the Friends of the Max Kade Institute for German-American Studies is published quarterly at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Articles highlight past and upcoming activities of the Institute, library acquisitions, research on the immigration of German-speaking peoples to North America, and the enduring German-American cultural and social influences in the United States and Canada.
Collections may be protected under Title 17 of the U.S. Copyright Law. Consult the Center for the Study of Upper Midwestern Cultures and/or the Max Kade Institute for German-American Studies on use restrictions. Non-profit personal, educational, and research uses are permissible. Duplication for public presentation, publication, and production requires negotiation with CSUMC and/or MKI as well as the people documented or their representatives.
