Center for the Study of Upper Midwestern Cultures
The Center for the Study of Upper Midwestern Cultures is committed to the languages and cultural traditions of this region's diverse peoples. We foster research and the preservation of archival collections, while producing educational and outreach programs for a broad public audience. We also assist community groups, classrooms, and scholars with projects involving Upper Midwestern Cultures.
Collections may be protected under Title 17 of the U.S. Copyright Law. Consult the Center for the Study of Upper Midwestern Cultures and/or the Max Kade Institute for German-American Studies on use restrictions. Non-profit personal, educational, and research uses are permissible. Duplication for public presentation, publication, and production requires negotiation with CSUMC and/or MKI as well as the people documented or their representatives.
