Research and Instruction
Research and instruction at WISCAPE are designed to enhance postsecondary education leadership by exploring the complex organizational structures and cultures that characterize postsecondary education, and the relationship among institutional cultures, constituencies, and leadership. In keeping with the center’s mission, WISCAPE encourages innovative research studies and contributes in new ways to established lines of research while utilizing multidisciplinary approaches and methodologies. The goal of WISCAPE’s research program is to further studies that connect leaders, policymakers, researchers and other key stakeholders to broad themes that are most central to WISCAPE’s mission. The center also seeks to identify knowledge gaps that may be of interest to researchers. WISCAPE accomplishes these goals through in-house research projects, support of outside projects, the Graduate Student Research Circle, and other scholarly activities.
