Radio Free Asia
Created in 1996 with funding from the United States government to promote US ideals in countries that "lack the freedom and expression that is called for in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights." The private, non-profit corporation broadcasts pro-democracy news and information. Ha Noi Medical University
Established in 1902 by the French colonial government, Ha Noi Medical University, Vietnam, was said to be the first university formed after a Western model in the Indochinese peninsula. The website provides information on the university (including a comprehensive history of development), programs, departments, offices, scientific activities and research, and news.

Tibet Heritage Fund
Tibet Heritage Fund (THF) is an international non-profit organization working primarily to preserve Tibet's traditional architecture. THF is a member of the Lhasa Old City Protection Working Group and so offers a database with information and photos of 100 buildings in Lhasa. The sight also has interactive and downloadable maps, panorama pictures of Lhasa on Quicktime and information on the basic structure of historic Tibetan buildings. There is also an introduction to the city of Lhasa, including its history.

International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development
